Position: Team Lead, Agric Insurance

Responsibilities

• • Underwriting and management of Agricultural Insurance Portfolio of the Company.
• • Research and advice on the best risk management approach for the company's Agricultural Insurance Portfolio.
• • Conduct pre-loss survey on agricultural insurance risk and prepare reports for underwriter purposes.
• • Provides continuous (daily) assurance to the business on the effectiveness and adequacy of system, process, and technology controls as well as other safeguards/measures put in place by management for the realization of business objectives.

Requirements

• • A relevant degree in Agriculture, Agric Economics, Insurance/Actuarial Science or Social Sciences.
• • 8 - 10 years relevant working experience in Insurance industry out of which 5 years must be in the management and underwriting of agricultural insurance risks.
• • A thorough understanding of insurance regulations, procedures and practices relating to Agric insurance.
